Rarity is the single biggest lever on power in florr.io. Moving up one tier multiplies health and damage for most petals by about 3×. Over the full ladder from Common to Unique/Eternal that compounds to a 6561× multiplier.
The multiplier table
Relative to a Common petal of the same type:
- Unusual ≈ 3×
- Rare ≈ 9×
- Epic ≈ 27×
- Legendary ≈ 81×
- Mythic ≈ 243×
- Ultra ≈ 729×
- Super ≈ 2187×
- Unique / Eternal ≈ 6561×
Some petals deviate (healing amounts, projectile counts, special effects), but the pattern holds for the majority of damage and health values.
Why Super and above feel different
At Super the expected materials required to craft further become enormous. Ultra → Super sits at 1% success; Super → Eternal at 0.1%. Players therefore treat Super drops and Super crafts as major events. Unique petals add a second constraint: only one of each type may exist, so the Titan forge becomes a contested resource.
Mob rarity follows the same idea
A higher-rarity mob of a given species is far tougher and drops higher-rarity petals. Hunting Super or Eternal instances is often more efficient than grinding lower tiers and trying to craft upward, especially when success rates collapse.
Practical takeaway
Decide which rarity band you can reliably farm, then use real-time spawn alerts to catch the outliers (Super+, special forges) that jump you ahead. The gap between “good” and “great” is measured in rarity tiers, not small percentage upgrades.
